Hailing from the Northern California coast, Greiner, along with her musings, travels continually between her neighborhood in south Seattle and those sleepy salt air locales of her youth. Light, shade, and the translucent veil of flora are constants in her work. In Greiner’s work color blooms in the air, alongside a cement form, or is haphazardly arranged on a dappled kitchen table.
